Step 1: Connect with your Google Account
To connect your Google Review Widget to your Google business, first you must enter your Google business name and location into the Google Search bar. Select your business and copy the Place ID from there. Place ID can be found in the Widget Connection field.
You can enter the Google API keys from your Google account if necessary. This key is required to verify and update the Google review tool when new comments are added.
You can request reviews for your products once your widget is active. These reviews are automatically confirmed via email and can also be sorted based on AggregateRating in order to increase search engine visibility.
You can also filter reviews using the metadata you collect when creating an order. This allows shoppers to select reviews by order, customer and/or products-related fields. This will enable customers to easily find the reviews they want, and improve your site's search ranking.
The Look and Feel of Your Widget
If you would like to customize your widget further, you can choose an avatar or upload a star symbol in the color of your choice. Alternatively, you can ask the Flockler team or your local developers to apply fully custom styles.
